

Use the breath of life to empower affirmations
Affirmations are powerful. They apply the Communicate Effectively virtue by using words to create a real change in yourself and in your circumstances. The Breath of Life technique takes this to a whole new level!
The default Breath of Life affirmations you'll learn below are particularly helped for fostering the Joy & Sufficiency that's the foundation of Knowing Yourself. But you can use your own affirmations with this technique to grow in any of the 13 Virtues.

This video from Spirit Science does a great job of teaching the Breath of Life technique:
Try doing the Breath of Life technique along with the video one or two times using the four affirmations they use.
You can keeping using the four affirmations in the video if those are what fulfill your yearnity at this time. Or, if you want to grow in other ways, you can write your own affirmations.

You might use different affirmations for each of the 13 Seasons that help you grow in the virtue of each season. You could borrow phrases and ideas from our Daily Scripts for each season to help you get started.
Once you've decided what affirmations you'll use, set a side time each day when you'll use the Breath of Life technique with those affirmations. Keep this appointment with yourself each day for as many days as is helpful to you.

Try Using This to Bless Your Food and Water
Josh has seen great results using the Breath of Life before he eats or drinks. Before you eat or drink, try using the Breath of Life with one of the following affirmations:

"This food [or water] nourishes my body and spirit."
-
"This food [or water] helps me ______." (Insert whatever you want help with.)
-
"This food [or water] helps me grow in the virtue of the current season." (You can actually state the virtue if you desire.)
